Day 15 Illustration Not Showing Up?

UPDATE: Upgrading to version 1.1.2 should fix this issue. Be sure to upgrade by Jan 20… there’s an Inauguration Day bonus, too!

Some iOS users who were early adopters of the Biden Time app have reported that Day 15 is blank. This is due to a data-caching issue. We’re looking into the issue and hope to publish a fix soon. Meanwhile, as a workaround, you can uninstall & reinstall the app to clear out the cached data that’s preventing days later in the calendar to load properly. Sorry for the inconvenience. On the bright side… you get to re-open past doors! 🙂

Lock-Screen Wisdom

New with version 1.1.0 of the Biden Time app for Android, you can quickly set a favorite illustrated quote as your phone or tablet’s lock-screen wallpaper. Add a little democracy-related wisdom to your lock screen to help keep you grounded in these chaotic times.

Open a door in our “advent calendar” countdown to Inauguration Day 2021, tap the full-screen illustration when you’re done reading the quote or zooming in on the image, and you’ll land on what we refer to as the “Day screen”. There, you can tap the three-dots menu at the right side of the toolbar and choose “Set as Lockscreen Wallpaper”.

We’ve also added some features along the way that you might have missed if you’ve been using the Biden Time app since its original release. Putting a little something in the tip jar adds a thank-you banner above the calendar on the Home screen… but did you know you can tap it to release a shower of stars? And each time you tap it again, it releases more! A simple pleasure to sooth the anxious mind as we wait out these final days before Inauguration Day.

You can also tap the countdown at the bottom of the Home screen to bring up the countdown share screen, where you can share an Inauguration Day countdown image with friends or to social media.

We hope you’re enjoying the Biden Time app! Available on Android and iOS.
